The first collaboration between Hem and Swedish artist Siri Carlén is full of fluffy mohair throws and hand-knotted soft wool rugs—including this unbeatable ultramarine blue and brown blanket.

$319 via Hem.

Oakland-based ceramicist Sarah Kersten started out making fermentation jars and has since expanded into an entire table's worth of dinnerware. Her newest glaze—the earthy and atmospheric "Winter Mesa"—is a true delight.

$50 via Sarah Kersten Studio.

A 1960s-era sofa designed by Swedish designer Folke Ohlsson and produced by Bodafors in Sweden. Timeless and teak.

$6,350 via 1stDibs.

The American painter Wayne Thiebaud passed away this week, and as writer Max Lakin pointed out, his paintings of coffee are quite spectacular. And so is this poster of a desk setting from a 1988 exhibition at John F. Kennedy University.

$445 via Chairish.

The Bose 901 loudspeaker made its debut in 1966, beloved and hated by audiophiles in equal measure. It remained in production (with updates along the way) until 2017. While many will debate the sonic merits of the speaker, it's hard to ignore the winning, homey design—especially when mounted on a Saarinen-esque tulip base.

$500 via eBay.

A beautiful lacquered red serving tray with contrasting black trim.

$15 via Etsy.

This design was produced in collaboration wit the Portland ceramic artist Bobbie Specker and each fixture is handmade in The City of Roses. It's also offered in black and white finishes.

$339 via Cedar and Moss.

Opinel makes beautiful and functional knives and this set of small ones is a worthy addition to any kitchen. It comes in a variety of color options, too. (Plus, don't sleep on their colorful mix-and-match steak knifes.)

$40 via Opinel.

Dog folks, start the new year off right by upgrading the old leash. This braided rope lead from Japanese outdoors label Snow Peak (in the brand's signature colors, no less) is not a bad place to start.

$31 via Snow Peak.

Mark Leary makes kinetic mobiles by hand in Oregon and offers designs in a variety of colors and sizes. Add a pop of color to your space as we head into the dreary winter.

$99 via Mark Leary Designs.

I can't explain it but there is something about a Ralph Lauren diffuser that feels chic.

$65 via Ralph Lauren.

All Roads is a creative studio based out of California's Mojave Desert that produces both metal objects and textiles for the home. This brightly colored table runner will add a splash of sunshine to any table and these cobalt-colored napkins are easy on the eyes, too.

$96 via Hawkins New York.
